The Liquor Control Board of Ontario publishes an amazing cooking and entertaining magazine every quarter (the next one comes out in 4 days!) called Food & Drink. Better yet it’s FREE and they post some of the recipes online! If you’re not from Ontario I’m guessing this seems quite strange but here the LCBO is more of a alcohol-pushing corporation than a control board. Basically the magazine is an excuse to advertise liquor. They usually feature some fancy recipes that incorporate saffron or truffle oil. Last winter we tried the pear pork (with saffron!) which we served with some interesting potatoes.
